Toon Hagen, Bader organ in the St. Walburgiskerk at Zutphen compositions on Psalms and Hymns for organ, trumpet, horn and voice
Bert Matter: Kyrie; Gloria; Gezang 126 LB "Von Gott will ich nicht lassen"; Sanctus; Agnus Dei; meditatie over Psalm 139; Agnus Dei.
Gerrit Wielenga: Psalm 87; zes variaties over de melodie van Psalm 23 (in memoriam Cor Kee); Psalm 139.
Toon Hagen: Psalm 150; Gezang 125 LB "O kom, o kom, ImmanuÎl"; Gezang 23 LB "Het zal zijn in het laatste der tijden"; Shalom.

The recently reconstructed Bader organ is in practice excellently suited to the interpretation of contemporary music, despite its historical character. [...] Toon Hagen presents this new church music with verve in an excellent recording. (Trouw)

It's a surprise to a proper Catholic organist when, after the sparkling jazzy introduction, creeping to a crescendo, the sustained melody of Psalm 150 appears.
The 150 Psalms and the melodies from the Liedboek voor de Kerken are excellent material, as this recording shows, for other approaches like minimal music and twelve-tone rows; also the use of the organ is opposed to traditional hymn-accompanying practice.
